Maroz is going to be a hard act to follow when she treats me like this!

Grill Your Face Off
Ms Taler Nicols, while not tattooing, likes to watch the food channel, and has consequently fallen in love with a little known burger truck called the Grill 'Em All. Anywho, she found out they were going to be working their magic at a bar nearby and we got the troops together for some cider and one of these babies...
God damn that was a good burger!

Southern Comfort
This Thanksgiving we went to our good friends Jason and Kristin's house, owners of the marvellous Incognito Tattoo in Pasadena, and the lovely little shop Spitfire Girl in Silverlake. Well, they went all out cooking a Paula Dean Thanksgiving dinner for some true southern hospitality! We were all pretty much delirious with food and wine by the end of the night, and pretty much for a day or two after. But boy, they really knew how to give thanks, yum!
The two photos we got of the night... I mean, it was even an effort to hole the camera up to take any
Maroz doing what she does best... making a racket
Suki holding Benny while he had some kind of seizure?
We're definitely a fan of the turkey day!

Bright Light City
Round 2 in Vegas was a whirlwind of bikers, karaoke, beer and 70's porn. We spent about 12 hours in the city of sin before flooring it back to LA the day after. I had had around 5 hours sleep in 3 days so it was a struggle to keep my eyes open on the road home, but we made it back in one piece... well the piece that had left Las Vegas that morning anyway
Me and Maroz sipping cocktails at the Wynn
View of the strip from the Stratosphere. Man, talk about vertigo standing up there! The winds were blowing at 60mph, and out on the top it felt like Prince Naseem himself was punching you repeatedly in the chest... Bad times
Some good times on the other hand was watching these guys play at the shindig. Apparently they went and got cock tattoos when the night was over... there's a million different interpretations to that statement, and we're not sure which one is actually true. We do know, however, that they drove back to Long Beach dressed like this! Love them...

Infatuation of the Month
Right now, it's this stunning young man by the name of Aaron Johnson...
My uncle had the pleasure of working with him on his movie Kick-Ass and agrees that we would make a perfect couple. It's a shame he knocked up the 43 year old director of Nowhere Boy and is now engaged to her. Oh well, I keep hope alive...

Maroz and Rosoz: The Early Years
Mum went back home for a couple of months recently and while she was there she found these two little gems
We think this was circa '95/'96. Maroz looked that miserable until she was about 18!
This one we were both pretty reluctant to put up... I like to tell myself we were both still being dressed by our parents. Look at them Nazareth Knockabouts and dodgy adidas sweat pants! Don't even get me started on them shoes Maroz was wearing, she LOVED 'em!

The Gig
We've got a little game you might know called Guitar Hero at home and occasionally we get everyone over and have a jam session. We take it pretty seriously. So the night before Mick and Mare were due to leave we held a small gig in the living room to send them off
They were pretty excited to be watching this...

Cookie Monster
Now I dunno if you know this, but I'm a little more than obsessed with cookies. I mean, really... I could live off those babies! Peanut butter, milk chocolate chip, white chocolate chip, triple chocolate chip, shortbread, sugar, soft, chewy, crunchy... you name it, I love it. Recently I've been receiving a lot of these delightful treats much to my excitement and thought I would share with you two of the best so far
Yes, that is a quarter next to that cookie, and yes, I have already eaten some of it. Biggest.Cookie.EVER. And it tasted bloody good too
This one literally had my name on it! Gotta love them hippies...

Until Next Year...
Halloween is over... and I'm gutted. What a great time of year! And you Americans really go all out. The decorations, costumes, right down to the food! It's pretty damn impressive. Me and Maroz are already planning our outifts for Halloween 2011. But for now we'll leave you with some of the awesome costumes from this year...
Costume #1 on Friday night. Unfortunately this dodgy picture is the only one I got
Maroz rocked the Clockwork Orange look the next night! It was pretty sweet. And I had a tough time coming up with all that biker gear...
The padre put his brown 70's suit he bought at the Melrose Swap Meet to good use with the help of a pimp stick and a $4.99 shirt I found at a costume shop. I dunno where he got that hat but it was nothing to do with me
But by far the best costumes of the night were Keith's and Pringle's! Sorry, I meant He-Man and She-Ra... Brilliant!
